This collection is supposed to be inspired by Russian clothing, but it looks medieval and fairytale like to me. Traditional Russian headdress is called Kokoshnik.
I’m actually a bigger fan of the Norwegian and Swedish folkdräkt. It is probably because I lived and study there, but I just think it’s sweeter.
I got these images of Norwegian and Swedish folkdräkt (Trachten/Traditional Clothing) This company makes really fabulous books unforunately you cannot purchase these outfits without going to Norway and Sweden. In Norway you can find boutiques that have them made, but in Sweden you will have to find an artist who will make it for you and it can be expensive like 1000-2000$ easily. The clasps are real pewter, the wool is fine quality, and the embroidery is really difficult so it’s understandable! I love folk clothing. http://folklorefashion.durantextiles.com/2012/01/
